Tell us about your photos. Are they digital or film? Describe your favorite photo. If you are getting married soon, what specific photos are on your must have list?
The Answers
We are going to use digital for our wedding. I think my favorite photos will be black and white—dramatic contrast shots. Those are timeless…. Must haves…well, anything complimentary to the bride of course!

I have a friend who had two great shots for her wedding pix - one was a silhouette shot of her and her father standing in a doorway and he was kissing her forehead. So sweet. The other was a funny shot of her and her husband - she was lounging on a couch with her dress flounced out all around her and he had her feet and flowers in his lap.

We used digital and love our pictures! My only additional advice would be to have one bridesmaid and one groomsmen point out the "VIPS" of the day…for example Grandmas, Moms, Dads, siblings, etc. It was important to us to have pictures of our immediate family and we wish we had someone pointing out the VIPS because we only got a few good shots of the folks that are most important to us.
